She walks by me once again
And treats me like I’m not there
This happens ten times out of ten
And it’s becoming more than I can bear
How can I be invisible to her eye?
Those beautiful orbs that will haunt me until I die
Why can’t she notice me?
Because the jock down the hall is all she can see
And I’m left standing here
With both heart and mind shedding a tear
Again my feelings for her have been snubbed
I feel like I have been clubbed
The only thing I have left of her as I go into the dawn
Is her lingering voice she leaves behind when she’s gone.
