Oh, the Light of Day!
Its rays brighter than the month of May
It is with you and me
When you find your path hard to see
Oh, the Light of Life!
Its Crown of Goodness cutting through Evil like a knife
Its eternal beam forming an eternal being
One that has a heart for seeing
Oh, the Light of the Father!
Whose universe is the story and he the author
He and Light is a balm
For the realities disrupting your calm
Oh, the Light of Day!
Its beam illuminates the way
It is eternal, it is strong
Its Trumpets give you a welcoming song
Oh, the Light of Heaven!
Its embrace does not leaven
When our life is done
It will be represented by the Father and the Son
