Greg stared across the Duel Academy entrance hall grimly. He was dueling Zane inside the Seal of Orichalcos with their souls as the prize. Right now, he needed to get rid of Zane’s Cyber End Dragon.
Greg drew his next card. (Shadow Spell) “I play Shadow Spell! Your Cyber End Dragon has 700 less ATK and it cannot attack! (Cyber End Dragon: 3800 ATK)”
Zane drew his next card. (Attack Reflector Unit) “I’ll set one card face-down”
Greg drew his next card. (Draining Shield) “I’ll set one card face-down”
Zane drew his next card. (Limiter Removal) “I set one card face-down”
Greg drew his next card. (Polymerization) “I set one card face-down”
Zane drew his next card. (Monster Reborn) “I play Monster Reborn to bring back Cyber Dragon! I activate Attack Reflector Unit! I sacrifice my Cyber Dragon to summon Cyber Barrier Dragon in DEF mode! (2800 DEF)”
Greg drew his next card. (Return from a Different Dimension) “I play Return from a Different Dimension! I pay 350 LP to Special Summon Clayman, Bubbleman and Burstinatrix. I then activate Polymerization! I fuse Burstinatrix and Clayman together to form E-HERO RAMPART BLASTER! (2000/2500) I deal 1000 direct damage to your LP via Rampart Blaster’s effect!”
Greg – 350 Zane – 1500
Zane drew his next card. (Big Bang Shot) “I set one card face-down. Cyber Laser Dragon attacks Rampart Blaster”
Greg drew his next card. (E-Hero Sparkman) “I summon E-Hero Sparkman in ATK mode! (1600/1400) I also switch Bubbleman to DEF mode. (1200 DEF)” I just need a Miracle Fusion, He thought desperately.
Zane drew his next card. (Mirror Force) “CYBER LASER DRAGON, ATTACK BUBBLEMAN WITH PROTON BLAST!”
Greg drew his next card. (Miracle Fusion) “I play Miracle Fusion! I remove Avian, Sparkman, and Bubbleman from play so I can summon E-HERO TEMPEST! (2800/2800)
Zane drew his next card. (Limiter Removal) “I play TWO Limiter Removals, which triples Cyber Laser Dragon’s ATK (9900 ATK) ATTACK TEMPEST!”
“Activate Draining Shield! My LP is increased by 9900 and Cyber Laser Dragon is destroyed!”
Greg – 10250 Zane – 1500
Zane drew his next card. (Emergency Provisions) “I play Emergency Provisions. I get rid of my 4 face-downs to increase my LP by 4000!”
Greg – 10250 Zane – 5500
Greg drew his next card. (Ring of Destruction) “I play Ring of Destruction! I destroy Cyber End Dragon to inflict 3800 damage to both out LP!”
Greg – 6450 Zane – 1700
Zane drew his next card. (Mirror Force) “I set one card face-down”
Greg drew his next card. (United We Stand) “I play United We Stand! Tempest gets an extra 800ATK and DEF. (3600/3600) I attack Cyber Barrier Dragon.”
“Activate Mirror Force! Your monster is destroyed!”
Zane drew his next card. (Ring of Destruction) “I set one card face-down”
Greg drew his next card. (Avian) “I summon E-Hero Avian in ATK mode.”
Zane drew his next card. (Scapegoat) “I play Scapegoat, which gives me 4 creature tokens.”
Greg drew his next card. (E-Hero Burstinatrix) “I summon E-Hero Burstinatrix. My monsters attack Scapegoat.”
Zane drew his next card. (Zero Gravity) “I set one card face-down”
Greg drew his next card. (Polymerization) “I play Polymerization! I fuse my two monsters together to summon E-Hero Flame Wingman! (2100/1600) I attack Scapegoat.”
Zane drew his next card. (Gradius) “I summon Gradius in DEF mode”
Greg drew his next card. (Polymerization) “I set one card face-down. Flame Wingman attacks Scapegoat”
Zane was now worried. He needed something. But he perked up when he saw that his draw card was Creature Swap. “I set one card face-down. I then activate Ring of Destruction. Gradius is destroyed and we both take 1200 damage”
Greg – 5250 Zane – 500
Greg drew his next card. (E-Hero Sparkman) “I summon E-Hero Sparkman in ATK mode. Then I activate Polymerization! I fuse my monsters together to form E-HERO SHINING FLARE WINGMAN! (2500/2100) And since I have 11 Heroes in my Graveyard, my monster gets an extra 3300 ATK points! (5800 ATK) SHINING FLARE WINGMAN, ATTACK ZANE’S LP DIRECTLY WITH THUNDERFORCE STRIKE!”
“NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!” screamed Zane as he lost all his LP and the Orikalcos took his soul.
Greg – 5250 Zane – 0
After the seal disappeared, Greg walked over to Zane. “I’m sorry” He whispered. Then He turned an walked towards his dorm.
In the Underground Mine, Dartz grinned evilly. “Everything is set” he snarled. “Soon, I will have revenge”
