Welcome to my Science page. Here you can view my course work along with the various special projects I'll be doing this year.
This year my course is Physical Science. It covers Chemistry, Motion, Energy, Thermodynamics, Waves, Light, Electricity, and Magnetism. Each unit is at least 10 lessons long (excluding the unit review and assessment). Each lesson has 5-6 pages of text I must read online. Upon completing the online text I pull out my textbook and read the topic further in there. After reading every I complete any and all worksheets and activities for the lesson and then take the lesson assessment. After completing all the lessons in the unit, I take a unit assessment that tests my knowledge of the facts covered in the unit. The questions vary from multiple choice to fill-in-the-blank to essay questions. At the end of the course is a Research Project. I choose a topic, perform a experiment, and create a presentation based on my findings.
