Welcome to my History page. Here you can see the various presentations and essays I do for school as well as what I do in this class.
Right now, I'm doing World History 1. This course covers everything from our world's prehistory--the Ice Age, discovery of fire, etc.--to the Middle Ages. I also have a supplementary textbook entitled The Humanistic Tradition. This series gives me in-depth looks at the cultures I study. For this course, I do what I call "The Unit Plan": First I read the required text in my primary textbook. Next, I read the section in The Humanistic Tradition that covers what I read in my other textbook. Then I complete all the necessary worksheets before correcting them. Then, without studying, I take the Lesson Assessments and correct them. After a few sessions of studying, I take the Unit Assessment. My course also gives me a research assignment every 4-5 units that helps reinforce what I just learned.
